Who Wins
- Pre-6, Tristana outranges you at level 1 and her passive gives her even more range as she last-hits, making early poke trades unfavorable for you — you win nothing at level 1-2 unless Lulu lands a meaningful poly.
- Post-6, your R fundamentally changes the fight: the permanent Q activation, upgraded W laser slow, and E dash make you far more dangerous in extended 2v2s, but Tristana's E knockback can still interrupt your R window if Camille hooks Lulu out of position.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best trading pattern is to use E to close gap on Tristana when she overextends for CS, immediately activate R if the trade looks extended, then use upgraded W laser to slow her and prevent her from jumping away — Lulu's W polymorph on Camille during this window is critical to prevent Camille from hooking Lulu and splitting the fight.
- Never initiate a trade without Lulu's CC available, as Camille's E hook will isolate you instantly.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Push the wave early to deny Tristana her passive range stacking on minions and force her to CS under tower, where her E reset pattern is less threatening — a frozen wave near your tower is dangerous because Camille can dive you with Lulu peeled away.
- Ideally, establish a slow push after level 6 to create a crash-and-roam or crash-and-fight scenario where your R uptime matters.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use E aggressively before level 6 — without R, your E is just a short speed boost with no dash, meaning you close gap on Tristana only to get knocked back by her E and left stranded in Camille's hook range.
- Burning E offensively pre-6 removes your only repositioning tool and makes you a sitting target for Camille's engage.
