Who Wins

  • Pre-6, Pantheon's early aggression with his passive-empowered autos and W stun is stronger than yours at levels 1-2, but once you hit level 3 and have Q, W, and E available, you can trade back meaningfully by using E to summon a Maiden-adjacent ghoul pressure and Q to sustain through his poke; post-6, your R fundamentally changes the dynamic because you can split-push with near-impunity and force Pantheon to either fight you 1v1 under threat of your R clone or abandon the lane entirely.

How to Trade

  • Your best trading pattern is to absorb his W stun on your ghouls or E Maiden when possible, then immediately Q to heal and auto-trade while his passive shield is on cooldown; never engage into his empowered W directly with your own body, as the stun into his full combo will chunk you heavily before your sustain can compensate.

Wave Control

  • You want to shove the wave fast with Q and ghouls to deny Pantheon the ability to freely poke you under tower, then back off to reset; a pushed wave forces him to CS under tower where his passive shield is wasted and your ghouls can harass him without him being able to all-in you safely.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not stand still and try to out-trade Pantheon in a prolonged extended fight pre-6 — his passive shield refreshes frequently and his burst combo outdamages your sustained output at early levels; respect his level 2 power spike specifically, as his W into empowered auto is a punishing sequence you cannot reliably answer until you have your full kit online.
