LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, Ziggs heavily outranges you and his W knockback directly interrupts your Q dash-through trades, making levels 1-3 largely losing for you unless you catch him off-guard in a minion wave; post-6, your R gives you a reliable engage tool that bypasses his poke, but he can still W you mid-air or immediately after landing, so the 1v1 is contested rather than clearly won unless you have a significant gold lead.
How to Trade
- Your best trade pattern is to use E to close distance and absorb a spell with the shield, immediately chain into Q and auto-resets, then use Q3 to reposition if he tries to W you away; never initiate a trade without E active, as eating his full combo without the shield puts you too far behind to win the exchange.
Wave Control
- You need to push the wave quickly with Q and autos to deny Ziggs free poke on you while you're CS'ing, then look to roam with your R since you will not consistently win extended lane trades against his range and wave clear; sitting in a slow, frozen wave against Ziggs is a death sentence as you become a stationary poke target.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not walk up to trade when your E is on cooldown — Ziggs's Q and passive-empowered autos deal meaningful damage and he can immediately W you away, resetting the trade entirely in his favor before your E comes back up.
