Who Wins

  • You lose early trades pre-6 due to Rumble's Q damage and shield from W, but can start winning around level 3-4 when you have Q3 knockup and E for gap closing.
  • Post-6 you win all-ins if you dodge his R with your E or R, as your sustained damage and mobility outscale his burst.

How to Trade

  • Your best trading pattern is E forward, auto-Q-auto, then Q2 if he stays, and E back to safety before his Q finishes its duration.
  • Never trade without your E up as you need the escape tool to avoid his extended Q damage and potential jungle ganks.

Wave Control

  • Push early waves to get level advantages since Rumble struggles to last hit under tower with his energy costs.
  • After level 6, look to freeze near your tower to set up all-ins where he can't escape with his W movement speed.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't chase extended trades without your E available, as Rumble's Q does massive damage over time and his W gives him both shield and movement speed to kite you.
  • Avoid fighting in minion waves where his Q can hit both you and minions for maximum damage.
