Who Wins
- You lose early trades pre-6 due to Nautilus's superior base damage and shield from W, but you scale better into the 1v1 once you have items.
- Post-6 you win extended all-ins with R engage potential and sustained damage, but Nautilus can still win short trades with his combo.
How to Trade
- Look for extended trades after stacking Q twice, using E to engage with Q3 knockup, then auto-W-auto before snapping back to safety.
- Avoid short trades where Nautilus can W-auto-E and disengage, as his base damages will chunk you harder than your poke.
Wave Control
- Push early waves to get priority and roam, as Nautilus will struggle to match your waveclear with Q and will be forced under tower.
- After first back, look to freeze near your tower to create all-in opportunities when he walks up for CS.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't use E aggressively without Q3 stacked, as Nautilus can easily Q you during your E animation and follow up with full combo.
- Never fight in extended trades when his W shield is up, as the damage reduction makes your damage negligible early game.
