Who Wins

  • You win short trades pre-6 with W shield negating his poke and your base damages being higher, but you lose post-6 all-ins once he has R and items.
  • Focus on chunking him out with multiple short trade windows rather than committing to extended fights.

How to Trade

  • Use W proactively before trades, then look for Q hooks when he goes for CS or uses E aggressively, following up with auto-E-auto for maximum damage.
  • Keep trades short and disengage before he can stack Q or get extended autos, as your cooldowns are longer.

Wave Control

  • Try to freeze the wave near your tower early to deny his roam potential and force him to overextend for CS where you can punish with Q.
  • Avoid hard pushing unless you can recall immediately, as Yone will easily clear waves and gain priority.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't waste Q on minions when Yone has E available, as he can easily dodge with his mobility and you lose your main trading tool.
  • Never commit to extended trades without W shield active, as his sustained damage and lifesteal will quickly turn fights in his favor.
