LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6 you lose this matchup clearly: Renekton's level 3 all-in with empowered W stun into double Q deals more burst than your passive shield can absorb, and his E gives him reliable gap-close that negates your mobility.
- Post-6 the matchup becomes more playable since his R creates a knockup you can immediately R off of, but you still need a significant gold lead or he will simply out-sustain and out-burst you in short trades.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to use E through minions to dodge his initial E engage, then retaliate with Q into auto-attacks while his cooldowns are running, keeping trades short and never committing to a full exchange when his W is available.
- You want to poke with Q through minion lines when possible and only all-in when his empowered W is confirmed on cooldown.
Wave Control
- You should prioritize fast wave clear with Q to deny him freeze setups and keep the wave closer to your tower, reducing the window he has to engage on you in open space where his E-W combo is most effective.
- Shoving and roaming is a viable strategy since your R off allied knockups mid can generate leads elsewhere to compensate for a difficult lane.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not E aggressively onto him to trade unless his W is on cooldown, because he will W you mid-dash animation and the stun into full combo will kill you before your passive shield regenerates.
- Stacking your Q tornado while standing still in lane is also a major mistake, as it signals your intent and gives him time to E onto you and interrupt the cast with his W.
