Who Wins
- Pre-6 you win convincingly: your E-W-Q-E combo at level 3 deals massive burst damage and your W interrupts Yasuo's E dashes, making it nearly impossible for him to trade back safely.
- Post-6 the matchup becomes more dangerous as his R off your knockup and passive shield regeneration let him survive your all-in and potentially kill you if you're not ahead.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to wait for Yasuo to E onto a minion toward you, then immediately W to stun him mid-animation and follow with Q into empowered Q for maximum damage before he can reposition.
- Never trade in extended fights without your W available, as his sustained DPS with passive shield cycling will outdamage you over time.
Wave Control
- You want to freeze or slow-push the wave early to force Yasuo to walk up without minion cover, exposing him to your all-in without his E escape tools being readily available.
- Avoid letting him shove freely under your tower, as he clears waves efficiently with Q and will look to roam or poke you under tower where your engage pattern is restricted.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your E aggressively without confirming his E is on cooldown, because if he dashes away from your gap-close you will be left overextended with no escape and he can retaliate with his full combo.
- Burning your empowered W on minions for sustain is also a critical mistake that leaves you unable to punish his aggressive dashes when the opportunity arises.
