- Pre-6, you win extended trades if you can stack Q to tornado and knock Lissandra up before she lands her full combo — her E into W into Q combo deals significant burst but has a clear animation window you can windwall or sidestep; post-6, the matchup becomes heavily Lissandra-favored because her R either locks you in place for her team or she casts it on herself to negate your all-in entirely, making solo kills very difficult.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to bait her E by walking toward her, then immediately dash through a minion to dodge her follow-up W, then use your tornado Q to interrupt her next ability — short trades where you land a tornado and disengage are more reliable than prolonged fights where her W root and passive frost stacks slow your mobility.
Wave Control
- You want to push the wave consistently to deny her safe E-engage angles — when she has no minions to E through, her initiation range is limited to her Q, which you can windwall; a pushed wave also forces her to farm under tower where your Q harassment is safer and her all-in is riskier.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your windwall reactively against her Q alone — save it specifically for her E-W-Q combo sequence or her R cast, because burning windwall on a single Q leaves you exposed to her full rotation and she will immediately punish the cooldown window.
