LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6 you have a meaningful advantage at level 3 when your full E-W-Q combo comes online, as Yasuo has no reliable way to windwall your E and the subsequent W root sets up free damage; post-6 your R completely neutralizes his all-in — either hard-CCing him for a kill with your team or using it defensively on yourself to survive his burst, making you the clear post-6 winner in most scenarios.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to E through a minion to close distance, immediately W to root him in place, then land your Q for maximum damage — this sequence is fast enough that he cannot windwall all of it, and the root prevents him from dashing away mid-trade; avoid extended fights where he can repeatedly Q you with tornado stacks.
Wave Control
- You want to maintain a slightly pushed or even wave so that you have minions available as E targets to initiate on him — a frozen wave near your tower removes your engage tool and lets him freely poke with Q; use your Q to clear waves efficiently and keep the wave in a state where you control the E pathing options.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your R offensively on Yasuo in a 1v1 without your team nearby or without confirming his windwall is on cooldown — he can windwall the projectile of your R if cast offensively, and wasting your R means you have no defensive option against his all-in for the next 110 seconds.
