LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you lose to Heimerdinger's turret pressure at levels 1-2 because your E gap-close is punished by turret aggro and his W beam; at level 3 you gain more kill threat with Q knockup into all-in, but only if you can isolate him away from his turrets.
- Post-6, your R gives you a real kill window since you can E onto him, Q knockup, then R to execute, but his R-empowered W beam can still burst you if you mistime the engage.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to use minions or his own turrets as E dash targets to approach from an angle that avoids his turret zone, land a Q tornado knockup, then immediately all-in with ignite — short trades where you take turret hits are losing trades for you.
- Never auto-attack repeatedly inside his turret cluster; dash in, burst, dash out or commit fully to a kill.
Wave Control
- You need to shove the wave fast with Q to deny him safe turret placement, because he places turrets more freely when the wave is slow and stationary near him.
- Crashing the wave and roaming is often more valuable than fighting him in a stacked turret setup — you win the map, not necessarily the lane.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not dash into a full three-turret setup with his R active thinking your shield will save you — his R-empowered W beam alone can delete a significant portion of your HP before you land your knockup.
- Patience is required; forcing fights into his prepared zone is the primary reason Yasuo players lose this matchup.
