Who Wins

  • Pre-6 you win convincingly at levels 1-2 by placing turrets in his path and poking with E, making it nearly impossible for him to walk up without taking significant chip damage; at level 3 he gains Q tornado threat so you must respect his all-in range and keep turrets between you and him.
  • Post-6 the matchup becomes more dangerous because his R all-in can burst you before your turrets fully respond, so you must play with more distance and use R-empowered W preemptively when he engages.

How to Trade

  • Your best trading pattern is to pre-place two turrets in the lane brush or at the edge of minion range, force him to either take turret aggro or stay back, then poke with E whenever he tries to farm.
  • If he dashes in, your turrets auto-target him and your W beam punishes the engage — you win extended fights inside your setup decisively.

Wave Control

  • You want to slow-push the wave by letting turrets help you build a large minion wave, which forces him to either take turret damage to farm or lose CS.
  • Denying him a clean wave to Q through also limits his ability to dash around you freely, since he needs minions as E targets to reach you safely.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not place all three turrets in a straight predictable line that he can dash through with E to bypass them entirely — stagger turret placement so at least one always has range on him regardless of his approach angle.
  • Overextending forward to poke him without turret backup is also a critical mistake, as he only needs one Q tornado to land for a lethal all-in.
