At level 3 scuttle, you have a strong advantage because your W provides sustained healing during the fight and your E knockback disrupts Ambessa's E dash follow-up if timed correctly, making her burst combo incomplete.
At level 6, you win the 1v1 by using your E to knock her back the moment she commits her E dash toward you, then immediately re-engaging with W active and auto-weaving your Q three-hit combo before she can reset her E cooldown.

Ambessa typically starts her clear on the side opposite to the enemy jungler, running a standard full clear to maximize gold before looking for a level 3 or level 4 gank on a pushed lane.
She will path toward scuttle aggressively at level 3 since she wants early skirmish pressure, so expect her at river around 3:15–3:30 regardless of her starting side.

You should not blindly invade Ambessa early because her E gives her strong repositioning that can turn an invade into her favor if she has lane priority backing her.
However, if you identify she is on the opposite side of the map and her laners are shoved in, invading her second buff around 3:20 with a laner collapsing is viable and punishes her isolation effectively.

Do not use your E reactively the moment she walks toward you, as she will bait it out and then engage freely with her own E once your knockback is on cooldown, leaving you with no answer to her burst.
Avoid fighting her in tight jungle corridors where her E dash has limited displacement distance, as open areas give you more room to use your E to create space and reset the fight.
