LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Scuttle Contest
- At level 3, you win the scuttle fight if you land your E dash aggressively to close the gap and chain your Q empowered strikes, as Xin Zhao's W slow and E knockback are dangerous but your burst window between his knockback cooldown is exploitable.
- At level 6, you win the 1v1 by baiting his E knockback first, then immediately re-engaging with your own E to negate the displacement timing and unleashing your full Q combo while he has no reliable disengage left.
Predicted Jungle Path
- Xin Zhao typically runs a full clear starting Red Buff side, pathing Red → Raptors → Wolves → Blue → Gromp, or alternatively Blue side into a level 3 gank on a priority lane, as he reaches level 3 fast and wants early skirmishes where his W sustain is most impactful.
- Expect him to contest scuttle aggressively at level 3 since that is his strongest window before you scale.
Invade or Not
- You should invade Xin Zhao at his second buff around 3:15–3:30 if you started opposite side, as he will be lower HP from clearing and his E cooldown may be down, removing his primary peel tool.
- Target his Blue Buff if he started Red, positioning in the pixel brush to cut off his escape route and force a fight on your terms with full HP advantage.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not let Xin Zhao land his E on you while you are at low HP and isolated, as his knockback into his team or into terrain is a death sentence and you have no reliable escape once your E is burned.
- Avoid extended fights where his W healing stacks up over multiple autos, as you need to burst him in a short window rather than trading back and forth.
