Who Wins

  • You can win short trades pre-6 by using E-Q combo when Mordekaiser's E is down, then immediately disengaging with W to avoid his passive proc.
  • Post-6 becomes much harder as his R negates your W escape and clone utility, forcing pure stat-check fights that heavily favor him with stolen stats.

How to Trade

  • Use E-Q for quick burst trades when his E is on cooldown, then immediately W to create distance and avoid his passive aura damage.
  • Never commit to extended trades unless you have a significant health advantage, as his passive proc and sustained damage will out-trade you.

Wave Control

  • Focus on farming safely and avoiding extended trades - look to freeze waves near your tower where his E engage becomes more risky due to jungle proximity.
  • When ahead, you can look for slow pushes to dive with jungle assistance, but generally avoid pushing into him as he can easily set up ganks with E.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't use W defensively against his R as you'll be in Death Realm regardless and waste your main outplay tool - save it for after returning to lane.
  • Avoid fighting in minion waves where he can easily land E and proc passive on multiple targets, giving him maximum damage and movement speed.
