Who Wins
- You win most pre-6 trades once you land E to pull Wukong in, as he lacks the sustained damage to match your passive proc and Q isolation damage.
- Post-6 you heavily favor the matchup since R forces a pure 1v1 where Wukong can't use W clone to escape or confuse you, and you steal his stats making him significantly weaker.
How to Trade
- Look to land E when Wukong goes for CS or uses Q, then follow with Q for isolation damage and auto attacks to proc passive - once your aura is active, Wukong struggles to disengage without using W.
- Avoid trading when your E is down as Wukong can freely engage with E-Q combo and disengage before you can retaliate effectively.
Wave Control
- Push waves early to establish priority and look for level advantages, as Wukong wants to farm safely and scale.
- Once you have R, maintain slow pushes to create opportunities to R him when the wave bounces back, denying his ability to use minions for W clone confusion.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste R on Wukong when he has W available and you're not confident about the kill, as he can use the clone to waste time in Death Realm and escape with remaining health.
- Avoid chasing his W clone in lane as it wastes your cooldowns and positioning while he escapes or sets up a counter-engage.
