LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win most trades at level 2 and 3 by using E to reduce his armor and following with Q, then disengaging with W before he can stack Q damage on you.
- Post-6, the matchup becomes significantly harder because his R engages from range and knocks you up before you can react with W, and his sustained damage during the knockup window is substantial.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to bait his E by walking toward him, then immediately use your E to shred his armor and burst with Q before using W to exit the trade before his Q stacks deal significant damage.
- Short, decisive trades where you deal your full combo and disengage are your win condition — never let him dictate fight length.
Wave Control
- You want to maintain a slow push or freeze to keep him from freely using Q on the wave to sustain, as his Q gives him both wave clear and combat sustain simultaneously.
- Denying him minion stacks before a trade means he enters the fight with lower Q stacks and less passive healing potential.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use W reactively to dodge his R once it has already launched — his R knockup duration is long enough that mistiming W means you are still caught in the knockup and waste your escape tool.
- Save W for repositioning after his R lands or to escape a losing extended fight, not as a panic button mid-knockup.
