  • At level 3, you do not reliably win a straight 1v1 against Briar at Scuttle — her passive sustain means extended trades heavily favor her, so you must use W to bait her E, then re-engage with Q empowered auto to burst her down before she heals back.
  • From level 6, your R into E combo can win a 1v1 only if you land your R knockup cleanly and follow immediately with Q and autos, ending the fight before her sustain and R can stabilize her.

Predicted Jungle Path

  • Briar typically runs a fast full clear prioritizing Red side first, then Scuttle, and will look to invade or counter-jungle aggressively once she hits level 3 because her kit rewards early skirmishes.
  • Expect her to path toward your jungle if she senses you are low or isolated, as her E gap-close makes escaping her without W nearly impossible.

Invade or Not

  • You should generally avoid invading Briar pre-6 unless you have a clear numbers advantage, as her passive sustain and E make 1v1 duels in her jungle extremely dangerous for you.
  • If you do invade, do so at her blue buff around 3:15 with vision of her location, using W proactively to bait her E before committing to a fight.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not use your W reactively as a pure escape tool without a follow-up plan — Briar's E has a short enough cooldown that she can simply wait out your W duration and re-engage before you can disengage safely.
