Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you win short trades decisively because your passive healing and W movement speed let you stick to Nasus and chunk him before he can stack effectively; post-6, you still win extended 1v1s as long as you engage before he activates R, since his R dramatically increases his HP pool and damage output and makes it a much closer fight that can flip against you if he has enough stacks.

How to Trade

  • Engage when Nasus steps up to last-hit, proc your passive healing by staying in melee range, and use Q to both deal damage and heal through his Q retaliations; avoid letting him E you and then walk away, as the slow combined with his Q damage in a prolonged trade favors him increasingly as the game goes on.

Wave Control

  • Push the wave early to deny him Q stacks under tower pressure, as Nasus under tower misses stacks and makes mistakes; once you've established lane dominance, freeze near your side of the lane to force him to overextend for CS, making him vulnerable to your all-in.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not ignore his stack count and assume you can always win — a Nasus with 200+ stacks and R active will outdamage your healing in a sustained fight, so if you haven't ended the lane dominance by mid-game, respect his scaling and look to roam rather than fight a losing attrition war.
