Who Wins

  • You win most trades pre-6 with your Q-W combo, especially strong at level 2-3 when you get both abilities, and you continue winning post-6 since your R gives you dive potential while his R takes him away from lane.
  • Your sustain through W and passive also gives you the advantage in extended laning.

How to Trade

  • You want to look for Q engages when his E is down, then follow up with W bite and extended auto attacks to maximize your passive damage.
  • Don't just Q-W and disengage as you need the extended trade to make full use of your kit's damage potential.

Wave Control

  • You should look to freeze the wave near your tower when ahead to deny him farm and force him to overextend for CS where you can run him down.
  • When behind, you can break his freezes easily with your waveclear and sustain through W.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • You must avoid chasing him through minion waves when his E is available as he can easily escape and turn the trade with his shield and taunt.
  • Also don't waste your R for gap closing when his E is up since he can just dash away and waste your ultimate.
