Scuttle Contest
- At level 3, you win the scuttle fight against Naafiri cleanly — your W sustain absorbs her packmate chip damage, and your Q slow prevents her from kiting you effectively.
- From level 6, you guarantee the 1v1 by letting her engage first, absorbing her burst with your passive shield threshold in mind, then activating R to reset the fight tempo and finishing with W when she drops low enough to trigger its execute heal.
Predicted Jungle Path
- Naafiri will typically run a fast clear path (Red → Krugs → Raptors or Blue → Gromp → Wolves) aiming to hit level 3 quickly and contest scuttle, or she may look for an early invade on your second buff if she senses a path read.
- She relies on packmates being alive to deal meaningful damage, so expect her to avoid extended fights when her dogs are dead.
Invade or Not
- You should invade Naafiri at her second buff camp around 3:10–3:30, particularly if you started on the opposite side of the map — she has no reliable escape tool and her E is a short dash that does not clear walls, meaning she cannot escape your Q slow once you're on top of her.
- Her packmates add pressure but die quickly to your AoE, so invading when she's mid-clear leaves her significantly weakened.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not underestimate Naafiri's burst when her packmates are alive and her Q bleed is stacked — if you walk into her at full packmate count without your W available, she can chunk you for more than expected and disengage before you can respond.
- Avoid using R purely for the damage in a 1v1; its value is the tower disable and the psychological pressure it creates, so mistiming it when she's already dashed away wastes your kill window.
