LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. ๐

Scuttle Contest
- At level 3, you lose the scuttle fight against Volibear unless your packmates are alive and you land your Q to proc bleed โ his W self-heal and raw durability outpace your burst at that stage.
- From level 6, you can win a 1v1 only if you open with Q from max range to stack bleed, immediately follow with E to reposition behind him, and burst him down before his W heals back the damage; if he gets his R off and you're below 30% HP, you die.
Predicted Jungle Path
- Volibear almost always runs a full clear starting Red Buff side (Red โ Raptors โ Wolves โ Blue โ Gromp โ Scuttle) or a mirror path on Blue side, looking to hit level 3 and contest scuttle aggressively.
- He favors early scuttle fights because his W sustain and Q slow make him extremely hard to disengage from in the river.
Invade or Not
- You should not invade Volibear pre-level 6 in his jungle unless he has already used W and you have packmates alive โ his 1v1 damage and self-heal make isolated fights heavily in his favor.
- If you want to invade, the optimal window is after he clears his second buff camp (around 3:15โ3:30) at his Blue or Red Buff, catching him low from the clear with your Q bleed already applied before he can W.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not try to extended trade with Volibear by staying in melee range after your initial burst โ his W will heal back a significant portion of your damage and his Q slow will prevent you from escaping cleanly, turning a winning trade into a losing one.
- Avoid using E purely as a gap-closer into him; save it as a repositioning tool to dodge his Q or escape his R zone.
