LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you lose to Galio's level 3 all-in if he lands E into Q cleanly, as you have no burst to match and your W has a long cooldown early; post-6, you begin to win extended duels because your R amplifies your damage, your W lets you dodge his R or E, and your sustain means you recover from trades faster than he does.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to use empowered Q (after stacking your passive) to poke him repeatedly from range, pool his E or Q to avoid the core of his combo, then re-engage with a full rotation once his abilities are on cooldown; never fight him when his E is available, as it is the primary tool he uses to close the gap and set up his full damage.
Wave Control
- You want to play for a slow push or even a slight freeze near your side of the lane, as this denies Galio the roam pressure his kit is designed around and forces him to stay mid or lose farm; a frozen or slow-pushed wave also gives you more time to safely poke him without being all-inned under tower.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your W reactively after he has already landed E on you — by that point his Q is already in the air and you will take the majority of the damage anyway; you must anticipate his E animation and pool before contact, otherwise you are burning your most important defensive tool for minimal benefit.
