LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you lose the early levels hard because Brand's E-Q-W poke outdamages your Q sustain and your W has a long cooldown at level 1-2, meaning you cannot safely negate his full combo every time.
- Post-6, your R fundamentally shifts the matchup — you can use it to amplify your own healing and damage while negating his R burst, and your sustained damage in a prolonged fight exceeds his burst if you survive the initial combo.
How to Trade
- Your best pattern is to bait his Q by walking up briefly, then W through it, and immediately retaliate with your own Q into E for the slow and follow-up Q.
- You want to force him into short trades where he burns his combo on your W invulnerability, then punish him during his cooldown window when he has no kill threat.
Wave Control
- You want to let the wave push toward you early so you can farm safely under tower and use your Q to sustain through his poke without overextending into his range.
- Once you have enough AP and your W cooldown is lower with levels, you can start freezing and punishing his attempts to walk up for poke.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use W preemptively or on his E alone — save it strictly for his Q stun, because if you burn it early he will immediately chain E-Q-W and you have no escape from the full combo.
- Misusing W on a non-threatening ability is the primary reason Vladimir players die to Brand in this lane.
