- Pre-6, you win this lane because your Q sustain and E empowered Q healing let you recover from Akali's poke trades, and she cannot burst you fast enough before you heal back; post-6, the matchup flips dangerously because her R gives her a reliable gap-close that bypasses your ability to disengage, and your W has a long cooldown that she can bait out before committing her full combo.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to use E to stack your passive, then trade with an empowered Q when Akali steps up to CS or attempts to Q you, as the healing differential will favor you heavily in short trades; avoid letting her land Q on you and then retreating into shroud, because she will re-engage on her terms with full energy and your Q will be on cooldown.
Wave Control
