LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, Vladimir wins most extended trades due to his Q sustain and E empowered Q healing, which outpaces your damage output before you have enough energy and cooldown efficiency to burst him down; post-6, you gain a significant edge because your R gap-close and shroud make you nearly impossible to kite, and your burst window can kill him before his W can save him if you sequence correctly.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to use Q to mark him, auto-attack to consume the mark for healing, then immediately E into shroud to deny his counterplay and reset the trade on your terms; avoid prolonged fights where his passive stacks and Q sustain can negate your damage, and instead look for short burst windows followed by a W exit.
Wave Control
- You want to push the wave early to force Vladimir under tower, where his Q sustain is less safe to use and he cannot freely trade back; once you hit level 6, look to freeze near your side of the lane to bait him into overextending, then all-in with R into E into Q burst.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your W reactively to dodge his Q alone and then immediately re-engage, because Vladimir's E empowered Q has a short cooldown and he will simply trade back into you while your shroud is on cooldown; save W to either escape a losing trade or to set up a full all-in where you can complete your burst before he can respond.
