- At level 3, you lose the direct scuttle fight against Ambessa if she lands her E and chains Q properly — her burst pattern outpaces your early damage, and your W healing is not fast enough to compensate in a short trade.
- At level 6, you can win a 1v1 if you bait her E dash, use W to sustain through her initial burst, and then R-possess her or a nearby unit to reset and finish; the key is not fighting her straight up but surviving her first rotation.
Predicted Jungle Path
- Ambessa will likely start on the side opposite to you and look for an early scuttle contest or a level 3 gank on a pushed lane — she is a skirmish-focused jungler who wants early fights, so expect her to be aggressive around the river at 3:15-3:45.
- She may also look to invade your second buff if she has information on your path, as her E mobility makes her confident in 1v1 scenarios.
Invade or Not
- You should avoid proactive invades on Ambessa early — she wins most level 3-5 direct duels in her jungle due to her Q burst and E gap-close.
