LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you have a range advantage over both Senna and Veigar, but Senna's E root and Veigar's E cage can interrupt your Q and E channeling, making your poke unreliable if they play aggressively at level 2–3.
- Post-6, your R is a strong all-in tool but requires you to stand still, which is extremely dangerous against Veigar's R and Senna's R — you win post-6 only if you land your E first to root them and channel R safely.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best trading pattern is to poke with Q at max range to proc your passive stacks on Senna or Veigar, then follow up with E to root and W for burst — do not commit to your R unless your target is already rooted and your Nilah is engaging simultaneously.
- Avoid trading when Veigar's E is available, as a cage during your R channel is a guaranteed death.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should roam occasionally but only after shoving the wave — your roam threat is real post-6 with your R, and mid lane mages are vulnerable to your poke pattern.
- Optimal roam timing is when you've pushed the wave to their tower and Nilah has enough sustain or wave clear to hold the lane briefly; do not roam pre-6 as Nilah cannot survive a 1v2.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not stand still to poke when Veigar's E is off cooldown — your Q and W animations are slow and predictable, and getting caged mid-cast means you take their full combo with no response.
- Also avoid using your R as an opener; it must be used as a follow-up after your E root or Nilah's engage, not as the initiation tool.
