- You win early trades and lane control pre-6 through superior range and Q poke, but must respect Yone's all-in potential post-6 when his R can gap-close from long range.
- Your advantage comes from consistent poke and wave control rather than extended trades.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to poke with Q when Yone goes for CS, then auto-attack with W stacks when he's in range before backing off.
- Focus on short, consistent damage rather than extended trades where his W shield and sustain become more effective.
Wave Control
- You want to maintain slow pushes that allow you to poke Yone while he's forced to last hit under pressure, then crash waves to recall safely.
- Avoid hard shoving unless you can guarantee a safe recall, as this gives Yone opportunities to freeze and run you down.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste your R on Yone's E spirit form, as the root will end when he snaps back and you'll have no ultimate for his actual engage.
