Pre-6, Lucian+Lulu win the 2v2 decisively — Lucian's short-trade pattern with E-dash resets and Lulu's W polymorph completely shut down your ability to land a charged Q, and your W passive stacks are too slow to matter in short burst windows.
Post-6, you gain meaningful threat with R to lock Lucian in place for a full Q charge, but Lulu's R on Lucian still negates your kill pressure unless Senna has root setup ready.

Your best pattern is to bait Lucian into using his E aggressively, then immediately root him with E and fire a fully charged Q — Senna's W root chained after your E extends the lockdown long enough to stack W passive and deal real damage.
Never initiate the trade yourself; your kit requires the enemy to overextend into your range for the combo to work.

Push the wave hard with W active to deny Lucian his short-trade windows on a shoved wave under tower — a pushed wave forces Lucian to farm under tower where his E dash is less effective and your Q poke from range is safer.
Avoid freezing; a frozen wave near their tower is a death trap given how easily Lucian and Lulu can all-in you when you walk up.

Do not attempt to walk up and auto-attack trade against Lucian — his passive double-shot and Lulu's empowered autos will out-damage your autos every single time, and you have no mobility to escape the follow-up.
Your only safe damage source pre-6 is a fully charged Q from max range, and forcing short trades by walking up is the primary way you lose this lane.
