Pre-6, Lucian+Lulu win this lane — Lulu's W on Varus removes his ability to land Q, and Lucian's double-shot pattern punishes Senna's slow attack animation and low base HP.
Post-6, you gain more agency with your R providing global utility, but the 2v2 still favors Lucian+Lulu unless you land a clean W root into a Varus R chain.

Your best trading pattern is to use Q to poke from max range, then immediately step back — do not linger in Lucian's E range after poking because he will dash in and proc his passive for a punishing short trade.
When Lulu uses W on Varus, that is your window to root Lucian with W and force a longer trade where your Q damage and Varus's stacks can accumulate.
