Who Wins
- You're vulnerable to early all-ins pre-6, especially levels 1-2 where Olaf's Q-E combo can chunk you heavily, but post-6 you become the stronger duelist with R execute threat and better sustained damage.
- Your range advantage becomes more meaningful as the lane progresses.
How to Trade
- Use Q poke and auto-attacks to proc leg passives while maintaining distance, then look for extended trades with W when he commits to you.
- Save E to interrupt his engage or escape when low on health.
Wave Control
- Focus on farming safely early and look to freeze or slow push depending on jungle pressure, as you outscale him significantly in teamfights.
- Use your range to last-hit and poke without taking free Q damage.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't let him get free Q poke in lane without trading back, and avoid fighting when multiple of your leg passives are on cooldown.
- Never waste E defensively unless necessary, as it's your primary tool for setting up kills post-6.
