Who Wins
- You win early trades pre-6 through levels 1-3 with Q poke and all-ins, but Urgot becomes stronger post-6 when his R execute threat and W shield make extended fights dangerous.
- His range advantage and leg passive procs give him better sustained trading once he has items.
How to Trade
- Look for short trades using Q to slow him, then running in for E-auto-W combo before backing out before he can proc multiple leg passives.
- Avoid extended trades where his W shield and leg rotations give him the advantage.
Wave Control
- Push early levels to establish priority and look for roams, as Urgot will eventually outscale your laning phase.
- Consider freezing only if you're ahead, otherwise maintain push to deny his scaling and create map pressure.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't chase extended all-ins post-6 when you're below 25% HP due to his R execute, and avoid fighting in minion waves where his Q and leg passives get maximum value.
- Never underestimate his early game damage with leg procs even when you're ahead.
