Who Wins
- Pre-6 you win this matchup at levels 1-2 with short aggressive trades using E or Q into W sustain, and at level 3 you can cycle stances to out-sustain her poke if you respect her E range.
- Post-6 the matchup becomes significantly harder — her R creates a zone where every tentacle hits repeatedly and her spirit mechanic deals bonus damage, so you must avoid extended fights inside her R at all costs.
How to Trade
- Your best pattern is to walk up, proc your shield with W, trade aggressively with Q or E for burst, then disengage before she can land E and set up her tentacle chain — short trades heavily favor you because her damage requires setup time and tentacle proximity.
- If she lands E, immediately disengage rather than fighting through the spirit, as the spirit damage stacks up fast especially if tentacles are nearby.
Wave Control
- You want to freeze the wave near your tower or maintain a small push advantage to deny her the ability to set up tentacles in favorable positions — tentacles spawn on a timer and she has no control over exact placement, so keeping the lane dynamic limits her setup.
- Avoid letting her slow-push a large wave into your tower, as she will use that time to spawn multiple tentacles and create a zone where your short-trade pattern becomes ineffective.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not fight her inside her R under any circumstances — your W sustain is not enough to offset the combined damage of multiple tentacles hitting you and her spirit simultaneously, and you will lose extended fights in that zone even with full health.
- Avoid using all your stances aggressively when her E is up, because if she lands it while you are committed to a trade, you cannot disengage cleanly and the spirit will take full tentacle damage.
