Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you lose the 2v2 — Ashe's range and slows prevent you from safely stacking your passive, and Thresh's hook punishes any attempt to walk up, meaning you cannot reliably engage or disengage without burning your Q.
  • Post-6, you have a theoretical all-in window if you can stack your passive to 6 undetected and engage from an unexpected angle, but Ashe's R and Thresh's hook make it extremely difficult to execute without Yuumi's E absorbing the initial CC.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best trading pattern is to use your Q to approach invisibly, stack your passive to at least 4-6 charges, then emerge from an unexpected angle to unload your E and auto-attack chain — do not engage from a predictable direction, as Thresh will pre-position his hook toward your likely exit point.
  • Yuumi must attach to you during the engage, not before, to avoid telegraphing your position.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • You want to avoid pushing the wave, as a pushed wave puts you in Thresh hook range without escape — instead, let the wave slow-push toward you or freeze near your tower to force Ashe and Thresh to overextend for poke.
  • A freeze also denies Ashe the ability to freely W poke while maintaining wave pressure, buying you time to scale into your mid-game spike.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not activate your R while Ashe has her R available — standing still to channel your R makes you a stationary target for her global stun, and Thresh's E box will trap you inside the slow field with no escape.
  • Wait for Ashe's R to be on cooldown or for Thresh to have used his hook before committing to your R channel in a fight.
