LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you lose to sustained Q poke if Gangplank plays correctly at range, but at level 3 with E and high Fury you can force a winning all-in if he is caught without minion aggro management — the matchup is not free, it requires you to close distance efficiently.
- Post-6, your R hard counters his burst window and lets you survive his full combo, meaning you can force fights he cannot win if you engage with high Fury and use R before he can disengage with his own R.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to wait for a Fury stack buildup near full, then E onto him to close the gap and force an extended auto trade where your critical strike rate and attack speed overwhelm his melee damage output.
- Do not trade into him at low Fury — his Q poke and barrel damage will outdamage your autos when your passive is not contributing meaningfully.
Wave Control
- Let the wave push toward you early so you can farm safely under tower and stack Fury without being exposed to Q poke in the open lane, then look for all-in opportunities when the wave is even or pushing toward him so minion aggro does not punish your extended trades.
- Once you have your first item, you can start looking to shove and create side lane pressure, as your split push threat forces him to respond or lose objectives.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use R as a panic button when you are far from killing him — if you pop R and he disengages with his R barrels or simply walks away, you have wasted your win condition and he can re-engage on his terms after your R expires.
- Commit to R only when you are certain the kill is achievable within the 5-second window.
