Who Wins

  • Pre-6: You win with W+Q trades and superior range, especially levels 2-3 when he only has one escape charge.
  • Post-6: He wins all-ins if he uses E properly to dodge your W, but you can still win if you bait his E first.

How to Trade

  • Use W on the wave to hit him while farming, then Q in for the passive proc if he's low enough.
  • Always hold your combo until after he uses E, as landing W is crucial for your damage output.

Wave Control

  • Shove waves with W and look for roams, as you have better map mobility and he struggles to match your roam speed.
  • Don't let the wave freeze near his tower where he can all-in you safely.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't commit to all-ins when his E is available unless you can guarantee he can't dodge your W.
  • Missing your W against Fizz means losing most of your damage and likely dying to his counter-engage.
