LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Scuttle Contest
- At level 3, you win the scuttle fight if you land E to gap-close and chain W into Q, as your burst damage outpaces Ekko's at this stage before he has meaningful AP scaling; however, if Ekko lands his W stun, the fight flips entirely since you have no reliable escape.
- From level 6, your sure win condition is to engage only when Ekko's W is on cooldown, as your full combo (E > W > Q > ignite) can delete him before he reacts, but if he has W available or is near his passive proc threshold, you lose the extended trade.
Predicted Jungle Path
- Ekko most commonly runs a full clear starting red buff side, prioritizing raptors and gromp for passive stacks, then looking to contest scuttle or gank mid around level 3-4; he tends to favor farming early to hit his item spike at Hextech Rocketbelt or Shadowflame before committing to fights.
- Expect him to path toward whichever side lane has priority, and watch for him to appear mid-river frequently since his W zone control makes him dangerous in tight spaces.
Invade or Not
- You should invade Ekko at his second buff (opposite side from his start) around the 3:15-3:30 mark, as he will be low from clearing and you can force a fight before he has W cooldown reset available; the optimal location is his blue or red buff depending on his start, cutting him off before he reaches scuttle.
- Avoid invading post-level 6 without vision, as his R makes him nearly impossible to kill if he has it available and he can simply undo your engage.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use E aggressively to engage if Ekko has his W zone placed or is near three passive stacks, as you will walk into a guaranteed stun and take a full passive burst that can kill you even through your own combo; your E is also your only escape tool, so burning it offensively without kill confirmation leaves you stranded.
- Respect his passive proc timing during trades — trading into a three-stack Ekko is a losing exchange regardless of your burst potential.
