Who Wins
- You win pre-6 through superior sustain and Q poke, as Trundle lacks gap closers to force extended trades early.
- Post-6 you still have the advantage since your R provides massive health and resistances while Trundle's R steal is less impactful against your naturally high health pool.
How to Trade
- Look for Q poke when Trundle goes for CS, then back off before he can respond with Q-W all-in.
- If he commits to an extended trade, use W to absorb his damage burst and follow up with empowered Q auto attacks while your passive heals you.
Wave Control
- Push early levels to establish lane priority and deny Trundle's ability to freeze against you.
- Once you have item components, you can afford to let waves push toward you and use your sustain advantage to trade favorably in longer lanes.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste W defensively against his Q slow alone, as you need it to absorb his full damage combo including pillar displacement.
- Avoid fighting in his W zone during extended trades, as the attack speed and healing boost significantly favors him in sustained combat.
