Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you win most trades because your Q has longer range than Seraphine's Q and your E stun lets you convert poke into real damage; Seraphine's W shield is reactive and won't absorb your burst if you land E first.
  • Post-6, you still win the 1v1 decisively because your R can one-shot or near-one-shot Seraphine if she's been poked down, and her R is a teamfight tool, not a duel-winning ability.

How to Trade

  • The correct trading pattern is to poke with Q from max range to chip her down, then commit to an all-in by using E to stun her, following up with Q and auto-attacks to maximize Dark Sphere passive stacks before using R to execute; never trade without landing E first because Seraphine's W will absorb a chunk of your damage if she has time to react.

Wave Control

  • You want to shove the wave hard with Q to deny Seraphine the ability to stack her passive on minions and to force her to use abilities on wave rather than on you; a pushed wave also removes her safety net since she has no reliable escape and is vulnerable to your all-in when she's near her tower.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not let Seraphine freely poke you with her Q and E from behind minions without responding, because her sustained chip damage and W shield will gradually shift the health advantage in her favor even though you win the direct trade; respect her E root range and don't walk into it while already low, as it gives her enough time to land a full combo.
