LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you and Pantheon win this lane — Pantheon's level 2 all-in combined with your burst is faster than Mel can stack Overwhelm or Pyke can set up a hook, and Mel's W only reflects projectiles so Pantheon's dive negates her defensive tool.
- Post-6, the lane becomes more dangerous because Mel's R execute on stacked targets can kill you through your health bar if you've been poked, so the pre-6 advantage must be converted into a meaningful lead.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best trading pattern is to let Pantheon initiate with his E stun onto Pyke or Mel, then immediately follow with your full combo — Q into E scatter into W slow — to maximize damage during the CC window before Mel can W-reflect your projectiles.
- Never throw your E scatter at Mel when she has W available; the reflected spheres deal significant damage back and can flip a winning trade.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Shove the wave early to deny Mel free poke range and force her to walk up, then look for Pantheon all-ins when she overextends to CS.
- If the wave is frozen near your tower, Mel cannot safely Q poke without walking into Pantheon's range, which is your strongest lane control state.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your R on Mel when she has W available — your R is a projectile and she can reflect it back, potentially killing you with your own ultimate.
- Always confirm W is on cooldown or bait it out with a Q before committing your R, as a reflected R into a Mel with high Overwhelm stacks is an instant lane-losing play.
