LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, Sylas wins extended trades at level 3 once E-Q-W combo is available, as his burst and W healing outpace Zaahen's early Determination stacking before she has meaningful AD bonus.
- Post-6, the matchup becomes significantly harder because stealing Zaahen's R gives you a strong tool, but her revive passive means she survives burst windows that would normally end the fight in your favor.
How to Trade
- Trade by opening with E to close gap and proc your passive shield, immediately chaining Q for the heal, then W to slow and sustain through her retaliation — do not let her land W pull freely or she dictates the extended fight on her terms.
- Avoid prolonged all-ins when her Determination stacks are visibly high, as her doubled AD bonus makes her auto-attack damage spike sharply and her revive removes your kill threat.
Wave Control
- Push the wave early to force Zaahen under tower, where her W pull becomes dangerous to use and her E dash has less room to engage safely on you.
- Once you have ult, consider freezing near your tower to bait her aggressive dives, since her R leap commits her to a landing zone you can punish with your full combo before she can revive and re-engage.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not blow your full combo into her when her passive revive is ready — you will spend all your cooldowns, she survives at 1 HP in stasis, and she comes back with whatever Determination bonus she had while your abilities are on cooldown.
- Track her stack count visually and either disengage or wait out the stasis before committing to a kill attempt.
