Who Wins
- You win early trades levels 1-3 with your E-W combo and higher base damages, but respect his Crimson Rush Q poke.
- At level 6, you lose the all-in if Vladimir properly pools your engage, but you can win if you bait out his pool first.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to E onto him when he steps up for CS, then W for the heal and shield while weaving in passive-empowered autos.
- Only commit to extended trades when his Crimson Rush Q is on cooldown and you have your full combo available.
Wave Control
- Focus on shoving waves quickly with your AOE abilities to create roam timers, as Vladimir scales better than you in side lanes.
- Try to freeze near your tower when possible to set up ganks, since Vladimir has no reliable escape pre-6.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never steal his ultimate in lane unless you're certain you can finish him, as Vladimir's R is much weaker without his full AP scaling.
- Avoid trading when you're low on health, as his Crimson Rush Q will chunk you heavily and he can pool away from your retaliation.
