LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you lose a straight extended trade against Darius if he lands his E, because his passive stacks and W slow will out-damage your burst before your W can heal enough; your win condition early is to poke with E-E and disengage before he can stack his passive.
- Post-6, the matchup shifts significantly in your favor — stealing his R gives you a powerful execute, and you can burst him down with your full combo before he stacks his passive to 5, especially if you enter the fight above 60% HP.
How to Trade
- Use your E-E to dash in, land your W on him for the heal and damage, then immediately dash back out before he can land his E pull; this short trade pattern denies him passive stacks and lets your W sustain chip him down over multiple exchanges.
- Only commit to a full combo when he has used his E on cooldown, as that is your window to all-in without the risk of being pulled mid-combo.
Wave Control
- Let the wave push toward you early so you can farm safely under tower and avoid his level 1-3 all-in pressure, as he has strong kill threat if he catches you in the open with his E.
- Once you hit level 6 and steal his R, you can start looking to shove and roam or force aggressive plays, since your stolen R gives you a significant power spike he cannot match.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not greedily use your W to heal in a trade and then stay in melee range — Darius will use that moment to land his E and begin stacking his passive while you have no escape.
- Never fight him when your E is on cooldown, as without your dash you have no way to disengage from his pull and the trade will heavily favor him.
