Who Wins
- You lose pre-6 trades due to Malzahar's superior range and mana efficiency with Q poke and E bounce damage.
- Post-6 you can win all-ins if you land E-W combo and avoid his R suppress, as your sustain and AoE damage outscales his single-target burst.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is E-W-Q combo when he steps up to last hit, then immediately back off to avoid minion aggro and his E-Q retaliation.
- Never trade with just Q poke as his range advantage and mana costs favor extended poke wars.
Wave Control
- Push early waves with Q to prevent him from building up voidling pressure, then look to freeze near your tower once he gets E max.
