Who Wins

  • You win pre-6 through superior range and mana efficiency, using Q poke and E bounce damage to chunk him down.
  • Post-6 you lose all-ins if he lands E-W combo, but you can still win if you maintain distance and use R defensively when he engages.

How to Trade

  • Your optimal trading pattern is E on a dying minion near him for bounce damage, followed by Q if he's still in range, then back off immediately.
  • Never extended trade as his sustain and close-range damage will out-trade your damage over time.

Wave Control

  • Build up 3 voidlings then push waves with E bounces to force him under tower and deny his sustain from minions.
  • Keep the wave in the middle or slightly pushed to maintain your range advantage and prevent his all-in opportunities.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Never use R aggressively for kills as good Swains will position to make you vulnerable to ganks or his team.
  • Don't let him get free sustain by trading when you're low on mana or when your voidlings are down.
