Who Wins

  • You win most 1v1s pre-6 through Q poke and E harass, and post-6 you maintain advantage in short trades but lose extended fights to his poison damage.
  • Your ultimate gives you engage potential but he can often escape with his own R if the fight goes poorly.

How to Trade

  • Your optimal trading pattern is to land E to slow him, then follow up with a charged Q while he's slowed and unable to easily dodge.
  • Use W shield before trading to absorb his poison damage, then disengage before he can run you down with extended poison application.

Wave Control

  • Focus on freezing the wave near your tower early to deny his proxy farming attempts and force him to overextend for CS.
  • Use Q to clear waves quickly when he tries to push, preventing him from building up his passive stacks on minions.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't let him proxy farm for free as this allows him to scale while denying you farm and experience.
  • Avoid chasing him with R in late game teamfights as his team can easily collapse on you while you're locked in the ultimate animation.
