LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you lose most extended trades because Ekko's passive procs deal significant damage and he can disengage with E before your Q fully charges; post-6, your R gives you kill threat if Ekko overextends near walls, but he can simply R out of danger, making solo kills rare unless he is severely mispositioned.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to slow-push a large wave into Ekko, forcing him to tank minion damage, then land a fully charged Q when he is occupied last-hitting; short trades where you absorb his passive procs and then W to shield burst damage are more sustainable than trying to all-in him, since he will E away before you can finish the kill.
Wave Control
- You want to slow-push and crash large waves repeatedly, as your wave clear with Q and passive empowered autos is strong enough to build a consistent freeze-breaking advantage; denying Ekko the ability to roam freely by crashing waves and recalling efficiently is more valuable than trying to fight him in lane.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not attempt a fully charged Q on Ekko when he has E available, as he will simply dash through you, dodge the projectile, and punish your cooldown window; overcommitting to trades when his R is up is also a critical mistake, since he can erase your kill attempt entirely and reposition with full health.
