Scuttle Contest
- At level 3 you win the scuttle fight cleanly — your W movement speed lets you reach Scuttle first, and your E AoE combined with W on-hit damage overwhelms Nasus who has no meaningful combat tools at this stage beyond a slightly empowered Q.
- From level 6, you win the 1v1 by activating R to close the gap, layering E on him, and using W to shred him before his E slow can create enough distance; the key condition is not letting him kite you through terrain.
Predicted Jungle Path
- Nasus will almost certainly start Krugs or Gromp for the bonus XP, then clear toward Scuttle in a standard full-clear path, as he has no reason to rush a specific side.
- He will avoid early fights entirely and focus on farming Q stacks, meaning his jungle pathing is predictable and slow — he will not contest you aggressively.
Invade or Not
- You can invade Nasus at his second buff camp around 3:15-3:30 when he is likely low HP from clearing; his lack of mobility and weak early combat makes him easy to kill in his own jungle at this timing.
- His Red Buff side after his initial clear is the optimal location, as he has no escape tool and your W speed advantage prevents him from disengaging.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not underestimate Nasus at 30+ minutes if he has been farming freely — a Nasus with 300+ Q stacks and R active becomes a legitimate 1v1 threat even against you, as his R bulk combined with E slow can neutralize your kiting advantage.
- Avoid letting him freely stack by contesting his camps and forcing him to fight or flee rather than farming undisturbed.
