LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Scuttle Contest
- At level 3, you win the scuttle fight against Kayn because your W movement speed lets you chase him down, your E applies consistent damage, and his Q requires him to walk through you to deal damage, which plays into your sustained trade pattern.
- At level 6 with R, you win nearly every 1v1 by activating R to gain tankiness and bonus damage, then using W to stick to him and preventing him from using terrain to kite you.
Predicted Jungle Path
- Kayn will typically start on the side of the map where he can collect the most melee camps to stack his passive quickly, often running a full clear with red-side or blue-side start depending on his team composition.
- He will look to gank early if he has collected enough stacks, and will prioritize wall-heavy corridors to use his Q and E mobility.
Invade or Not
- You should invade Kayn at his second buff around 3:15-3:30 if you have vision of his starting position, because your W speed advantage lets you arrive faster and your level 3 damage output beats his.
- Target the buff camp opposite to where he started, as he will likely be low on health after his first clear and cannot escape through walls if you cut off his pathing.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not let Kayn freely farm until he completes his transformation, as a fully transformed Rhaast with Goredrinker becomes extremely difficult to kill due to healing stacking with your sustained damage.
- Avoid chasing him near thin walls or terrain, as his E allows him to reposition instantly and reset the fight on his terms.
